Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the well-liked Indian international cricketers who captained the Indian national team from 2007 to 2017 and in test cricket from 2008 to 2014.
He was born on 7th July 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar. Dhoni’s parents proceed from Uttarakhand to Ranchi, where his father, Pan Singh worked in MECON in a junior management position. He is the youngest one of his brother and sister. Dhoni has also been involved in a relationship with many girls before finally settling with Sakshi Singh Rawat.
Dhoni started his career in one day international (ODI) in December 2004 and played his first test after a year. Dhoni is observed as one of the finest wicket-keeper and captains India has ever had. Dhoni is a right-handed batsman and during his captaincy, the cricket team of India achieved much success such as no-1 test ranking, 50 over world cup and world 20-20 in 2007.
Dhoni was awarded many awards namely: In 2009, he born the ICC ODI player of the year award, in 2007 he was awarded by Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and India’s fourth highest civilian honour, Padma Shri award in 2009.
MS Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020. He has inspired every person to think high and achieve it.
